At 300 grams per square meter, the Kaibab 300 is a powerhouse at maintaining core temperature and is designed to be layered against the skin. No other fabric breathes like Merino wool which is why Merino was the clear choice for constructing this incredible base layer. The fact that merino wool can absorb an astonishing 35% of its weight in water, without feeling wet, and rapidly discharge it into the environment makes it the most breathable material around. The Kaibab 300 bottom also features a full-length zipper making it very easy to remove without taking off your boots.
