The Warden is one of the most thoroughly engineered urchin-style hooks on the market. Built specifically for urchin-style soft plastics, its compact design combines a short-shank EWG frog hook with a strategically positioned keel weight for better presentation and more reliable hookups.

Available in 2/0 and 4/0 hook sizes and 1/8 oz, 3/16 oz and 1/4 oz weights, the Warden is designed to pair with 17 mm to 25 mm urchin baits.

What really separates the Warden is its keel-weighted Torque-Induced Rotation design. The keel keeps the hook points riding upward, positioning them for increased roof-of-the-mouth hookups. During the hookset, that same offset weight generates rotational torque when pinned against the mouth, helping turn and drive the hook points into the fish rather than allowing the bait to simply pull straight forward.
