Tornado Innovations Clear Evolution Finesse Umbrella Rig

 The CUR Evolution Series is our answer to the number one problem with umbrella rigs—storage.  While retaining all the great features of the previous generation such as a minimal metal approach design, world class castability and built with only premium hardware, the Evolution features unbreakable folding arms that can be collapsed and packed away easily without risk of breakage. Each rig comes with its own storage tube, designed to hold the rig fully rigged with baits, so you’re ready for fast deployment the moment you hit the water.    

The CUR Evolution Finesse bladed, like the non-bladed version, it was designed to throw the smaller swimbaits, ideal for matching the hatch when the fish are keen on the smaller baits.   Each of the outer arm is equipped with a willow blade secured via a ball bearing swivel.  While this rig does perfectly fine in clear pressure waters, it excels in dingy murkier water conditions by giving off more flash and vibrations. 

The ideal rod and reel setup: 

7 to 7.5' MH bait cast rod 

200 size bait cast reels 

16-20lbs Mono or Fluorocarbon line  

Specs: (4) willow bladed 3.5" folding outer arms rated for 1/16 to 1/8oz jig heads 

2.5-3" swimbaits (1) 7" center arm: no weight limit, 1/2-3/4oz jig heads recommended for up to 4" swimbaits
